Concept

“Leaf” as a property name, and as an idea stems from the quiet, semi-rural and leafy environment of the villas.

The concept behind the design is driven by a desire to reflect local landscape elements including mudstone (called dinding polpolan by the Balinese) used to construct village homes along with other interpretive elements such as the woven bamboo (known locally as bedeg/klakat) used for fencing and buildings

These interpretive elements are woven into the design of these villas to reference traditional Balinese building techniques, along with a thoroughly modern, contemporary style of crafted building.

The intention here is to create a safe and quiet haven that gives families the opportunity to relax peacefully whilst enjoying a level of luxury not readily found in the local market. Evidence of this is seen in the selection of high grade finishes including bangkirai timbers, impressed and coloured rendered finishes to the walls with selected feature walls in dinding polpolan, both terrazzo and warm timber floors with copper inlays, along with a suite of 21st Century technologies including remotely accessible security systems, intelligent climate control, bespoke lighting and high end, European standard fitouts in the bathrooms and kitchens along with the use of extensive built in furniture. Simply put, there is no need to leave your Leaf villa – just sleep in, play some relaxing music, while away your days by the pool or catch some sun on the Panorama Deck.

Utterly luxurious, thoughtfully considered and truly beautiful architecture which creates a “home away from home” in a quiet, (no through traffic) private laneway only a few minutes stroll from the famous Berawa surf beach, beach clubs, restaurants and health spas and shopping nirvana.
